Lars Ahlfors’s
Work Algorithms

A 300-case reconstruction of Lars V. Ahlfors’s mathematical working style from collected papers, books, lectures, and chapter-level cases. Each paper, chapter, or section is treated as a lecture-level case: a main thesis, a result, and an inferred strategy path.

The Ahlfors Decision Tree

This is a bibliographic reconstruction, not a full-text edition. It uses public tables of contents, book metadata, selected paper titles, public memoirs, and mathematical domain knowledge to infer likely working strategies. Strategy labels are overlapping; a case may use several methods, so prevalence percentages are not expected to sum to 100%.

Prevalence ranking

Bars show case prevalence: evidence count divided by 300 cases. Since strategies overlap, total displayed percentages may exceed 100%.
