Rufus Bowen's Work Algorithms

A 300-case reconstruction of Bowen's mathematical workflow across Axiom A diffeomorphisms, Markov partitions, symbolic dynamics, topological entropy, periodic orbit counting, equilibrium states, Gibbs measures, hyperbolic flows, interval maps, quasi-circle dimension theory, and expository synthesis. Each case below is a reconstructed paper, theorem, lemma, proof-module, chapter-module, or lecture-style unit, not a separate publication. Histogram percentages are overlapping case prevalence and therefore need not sum to 100%.

Reconstruction Rule

This is a bibliographic and methodological reconstruction, not a full-text edition and not a claim that Bowen wrote 300 distinct papers. Bowen's career was brief but unusually concentrated; therefore the 300 cases expand the source spine into theorem-level, lemma-level, chapter-level, survey-level, and proof-module units. The goal is to infer reusable work algorithms from the structure of his results without reproducing copyrighted source text.
Core spine: topological entropy, Axiom A diffeomorphisms, Markov partitions, periodic points and measures, symbolic dynamics for hyperbolic systems and flows, equilibrium states, Bowen-Ruelle Axiom A flows, CBMS synthesis, interval entropy, Couette-flow modeling, and quasi-circle dimension theory.

Prevalence Ranking

Percentages show overlapping case prevalence: if a method appears in 90 of 300 cases, it is shown as 30%. Each case may use several strategies, so totals intentionally exceed 100%.
